GLOBAL WARMING, IT'S TIME TO ACT!

By 2030, the international community has agreed to ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including global citizenship.

Hence, our project focus has been Sustainability, Advocacy and Recycling (SDG 12) through interdisciplinary and innovative learning (SDG 4) to tackle the issues of Climate change (SDG 13) and to protect the lives on our planet, Earth (SDG 14 and 15).

Recycling is one of the most practical ways of taking action for the survival of our planet. We have created series of artworks using recycled materials including the SDG boxes held in these images by our green champions from Caleb British International School. We have also used old newspapers to create collage works, pappier mache and 3D sustainability art projects. It is scientifically proven for every ton of recycled newspaper, 17 trees are saved.

Previously, we have created diverse advocacy towards embracing Eco-friendly Lifestyle and sustainability living using art as a vehicle for social change. Read some of the articles on some of the foremost newspapers in Nigeria at:

Gradually, we have taken our actions beyond recycling and tree planting advocacy, we have planted dozens of trees (trees both for economical values and aesthetics. We are articulating the significance of forest restoration towards mitigating global warming and preservation of biodiversity with our TREE PLANTING INITIATIVES.
