SDG 16 ART BASED PROJECT

I have created this art piece to teach SDG 16 (PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS) with intention to stimulate creativity and inspire future generation of social innovators who will be able to identify problems in their immediate environment and find means to solve them.

In the painting is the king of the Jungle, Lion and the Prince of the mankind. The painting depict the peaceful coexistence between creations which was the initial intention of the creator of the planet Earth. Different animals in the painting represent mankind in our diversity: colour, ethnicity and social background.

The lion is depicted in the painting as a king that is approachable, respect diversity and fair in its dealings with the different species and colour in its kingdom. The most important lesson in this artwork is that Justice Institution is an integral of peaceful coexistence in our society. Education for Peace gives the children the skills that will assist in achieving peaceful societies.
